My last post explained how I knew I was in remission from Lyme disease and bartonella. Here are more details on my protocol from my LLMD (Lyme Literate Medical Doctor) that put me into remission.
I’ve had Chronic Lyme, Bartonella, & Babesia since 2004 and have had other periods of remission too. It was such a great feeling to put most of my meds & supplements on the shelf.
To anyone wondering how it happened, I’ve had the privilege of having 4 great LLMDs over those 20 years, all who took/take insurance. Also now that I’m on Medicare, many of the IgeneX tests & Genova Diagnostics tests are covered 100%. So that’s all been a blessing.
I live in PA so I’m vigilant when outside. There was no one thing that put me in remission, just carefully & consistently taking the treatments my doctors recommended. Here’s my basic regimen, but there were tweaks along the way.

I also saw a separate practitioner for several years for mold detox. He also does genetics & found I have a double mutation of the TNF-a gene which only 2.4% of the population has & allows cytokine storms & inflammation to go unchecked. I do take one supplement to help with that.
Finally, I will continue to take Teasel Root as a preventative. I will also continue to take the Neuroscience supplements because a urine test done by my current LLMD about a year ago showed I’m low in some neurotransmitters. I’m so grateful for the direction and wisdom of my LLMD and the perseverance and strength God had given me to continue through this protocol.
Don’t give up! Keep fighting, even if it’s an hour at a time! Ask God to guide you to the practitioner He has picked for you and give you ideas to fund the treatment.
In my next post, I will talk about herbal protocols you can order online that have been very successful for many Lyme patients.
