Luke 1:78-79
78 Because of God’s tender mercy,
the morning light from heaven is about to break upon us,
79 to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, and to guide us to the path of peace.”
When we went to do our video greeting, we surprisingly found out that Hallmark discontinued the program! Uh-oh. So we decided to write our Christmas message to you with photo highlights of our year and link the QR code to my blog. So, Merry Christmas!🎄
We are doing well because we are held in the palm of God’s Hand. This year brought a few surprises, the biggest being a recurrence of Gary’s Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in August. But it didn’t catch God by surprise and Gary’s treatments and results so far have gone beautifully. He has 4 cycles down & 2 to go.
God continues to give us a “peace that passes all understanding” and overwhelming joy in the midst of our health struggles and trials because of our relationship with Jesus. It’s such a precious gift!
Christmas is the celebration of the divine Son of God, Jesus Christ, coming to earth as a human baby, offering the greatest gift of humble, sacrificial love. He lived and died to redeem all humanity from their sin debt. We hope that you believe in Jesus and receive this gift and eternity with God.
Gary continues his activities including going to the gym daily, volunteering weekly to help those with Parkinson’s in a Rock Steady Boxing class, attending a men’s Bible study, and both of us help with CSF (Christian Student Fellowship), a campus ministry at Penn State Berks.
I continue to teach 2 fitness classes weekly, volunteer as the Referral Coordinator for PA Lyme Resource Network, write posts for my blog, and attend a women’s Bible study.
We have the most fun when we see our grandkids and kids! Nicole is 39, married to Joel, and they have 2 children: Caleb (11) & Eliza (soon to be 9). They live in Virginia Beach. Peter is 36, married to Jaimie & they have 2 children: Samantha (Sami, 4-1/2) & Pete (1 yr & 4 mos.). They live in Nazareth PA.
Below are some highlights of our year and family photos.
Have a Merry Christmas and a blessed 2026!
