May the Author of all things
open a fresh page before you,
the paper clean with mercy,
the margins wide with grace.
May the Word who spoke light into being speak courage into your mornings and peace into the quiet lines between what you hope for and what you fear.
May your days be written
not in haste, but in faith—each chapter shaped by love, each sentence strengthened by truth,
each comma an invitation to pause and trust the Hand that guides the pen.
When the plot thickens,
may you remember God is faithful to the story, that no sorrow is wasted ink, and no tear falls outside His knowing. Even revisions and surprise endings
serve a greater meaning than you can yet read.
May Scripture be your lamp, Christ your living Word, and the Spirit your steady editor, refining what is unclear, softening what is hard, and drawing beauty from what feels unfinished.
And when this year closes its cover, may you look back and see
goodness followed you on every page, and your life—held in God’s hands—has been a testament to His love.
Amen.
